BROILER CHICKEN FARMS

The institution owns 20 broiler chicken farms spread over an area of approximately 250,000 square meters, located in Al-Tafih – Zarqa, Al-Hallabat, Mafraq Road, and opposite the free zone in Zarqa. These farms represent the third stage in the complete production cycle. The broiler chicken farms of Al-Ittihad for Agricultural Development and Slaughterhouses serve as the sole source of the highest quality broiler chickens, marketed under the Al-Tahouna, Al-Ittihad, and Grand brand names. These brands guarantee product safety, with a daily production of approximately 140,000 chickens distributed to Al-Tahouna retail centers, as well as to markets, restaurants, and hotels. The surplus is exported to several countries, including Kuwait, Oman, Yemen, and parts of Africa.

Our institution operates closed poultry farms equipped with systems that support broiler chicken rearing while protecting them from diseases. These systems create an optimal environment by controlling temperature, ventilation, humidity, and ammonia levels.

The health of the chickens is maintained through the administration of essential vaccines to prevent bacterial and viral infections. The broiler farms are continuously cleaned and disinfected to prepare for new batches and ensure their safety to the highest possible standards.

All these operations are carried out under the supervision of veterinarians and specialized agricultural engineers in this field.
