Al Tahooneh Chicken controls every stage of production in-house, from the breeder farms that lay the hatching eggs to the slaughterhouse that packs the finished chicken. Founded in Jordan in the 1980s, the company runs its own hatcheries, feed factories, grain silos, broiler farms and central laboratory, so the quality of every bird can be traced through one integrated chain.

That chain is what makes our feed promise possible: every Al Tahooneh chicken is raised on a 100% vegetable and grain diet, with no animal by-products and no animal fats, and its feed is produced in our own factories.

Facilities at a glance

• Breeder farms: 16 farms across Jordan on 250,000 square metres, supplying hatching eggs under veterinary supervision.
• Hatcheries: a capacity of 95 million eggs, with controlled incubation, sterilisation and vaccination.
• Feed factories: three factories producing 40 tons of feed per hour from yellow corn and soybean meal; every batch is analysed by NIR spectroscopy and heat treated.
• Grain silos: storage for more than 100,000 tons of corn, soybeans, soybean meal and premixes.
• Broiler farms: 20 farms in Zarqa, Hallabat and Mafraq producing around 140,000 chickens a day.
• Poultry slaughterhouse: a 10,000 square metre plant processing 12,000 birds per hour under continuous veterinary and quality supervision.
• Central laboratory: microbiology, serology and immunology, PCR and feed analysis across the whole chain.
